A Lumberton woman was arrested Aug. 7, after Lumberton Police Department officers, along with Hardin County Sheriff Office (HCSO) deputies, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of W. Walton Road.

Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins reported Andrea Tucker, 48, was arrested and booked into the Hardin County Jail. She was charged with manufacturing/delivery of 4-200 grams of a controlled substance. Sullins stated officers recovered 3 ounces of methamphetamines as the result of a four-month long investigation.

Pct. 5 Justice of the Peace Melissa Minton issued the warrant before midnight on Aug. 5, according to Sullins.

“We have been receiving tips that drugs were being sold out of this house,” Sullins stated.

Minton set bond at $50,000 with conditions: being monitored by adult probation, no alcohol or drugs and prohibited from being where alcohol is served.

Sullins said his department, HCSO and District Attorney Rebecca Walton’s office did a “good job.”

According to the HCSO website, Tucker is out on bond.
