Take Yourself & a Loved One to the Doctor Day

Jefferson County Pct. 4 Commissioner Everette “Bo” Alfred is readying his office to again host the annual Take Yourself & a Loved One to the Doctor Day in Southeast Texas on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church of Beaumont, 3755 Fannett Road.

Alfred expresses that this year’s event will feature even more of the health care amenities needed in the community: blood pressure check, diabetes screening, cholesterol screening, vision screening for adults and children, hearing screening, flu shot, COVID and HIV testing – all free of charge. There will also be giveaways, food and voter registration available on site.
