Answering a disturbance call in Jasper County Monday, Oct 5, 2026, ended with a Evadale man jailed. Once on the scene in the 6000 block of FM 105, deputies learned 39-year-old Richard Hawes was wanted in Orange County for a failure to appear warrant for evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle, which is a 3rd degree felony.
Hawes was arrested without incident and transported to the Jasper County Jail. He will be returned to Orange County for the outstanding warrant.
