Neighboring communities take on water from Beta

By 8 .a.m., reports from League City amid the approach of Tropical Storm Beta shows storm surge flooding some of the community's low-lying areas. Heritage Park, the Boat Ramp and the Nature Center were closed for safety. Areas taking on water noted early Monday morning include Heritage Park, 7th and Landrum, the Boat Ramp and Bayridge.
