Expect a rain event. Periods of heavy rainfall may lead to localized street and low-lying area flooding.
Avoid unnecessary travel, especially during periods of heavy rain.
Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Never drive through water-covered roadways... you cannot tell how deep the water is or if the roadway is intact.
Secure loose outdoor items such as patio furniture, trash cans, decorations and other objects that could become airborne.
Keep phones charged and have flashlights and basic supplies readily available in case of power outages.
Don’t become complacent. Conditions can change quickly with tropical weather, so continue monitoring updates throughout the day
