Regular trash routes will resume today ( Wed ) on a delayed schedule. Residents should place their City trash bins at the curb on their regularly scheduled collection day and leave them at the curb until they are serviced.
Solid Waste crews will work extended hours, including Friday and Saturday, to catch up on routes. Regular trash collection is expected to be caught up by Friday.
Heavy Trash and Storm Debris
Residents may place heavy trash and storm debris at the curb for collection. Due to the increased amount of debris following the storm, residents should expect delays in heavy trash and storm debris collection through the end of next week.
For large yard waste:
- Limbs and branches should be no longer than 8 feet.
- Tree trunks larger than 12 inches in diameter should be cut into sections no longer than 2 feet.
The City of Beaumont Landfill is open and operating during regular hours.
