Early morning fire destroys PA church

An online fundraising campaign is aimed to help rebuild a Port Arthur church that was destroyed by fire on Jan. 19.

The fire, which destroyed the Endtime Deliverance Holiness Church, at the corner of 19th Street and 2nd Avenue, occurred around 2:30 a.m. Firefighters battled the blaze for several hours and no injuries were reported. The Port Arthur Fire Department is investigating the cause.

The church has been renting the building for 20 years. A GoFundMe account has been set up for the church.
