One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash, reported the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Jan. 29, DPS responded to a crash about 12:30 a.m. along Interstate 10 near mile marker 856 inside the Orange County line near Rose City.
Lt. Chuck Havard, DPS spokesperson, reported a man was driving a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck along the westbound Interstate 10 service road when the truck drove off of the road into a ditch and rolled over.
Havard reports that the driver, Daniel Chaves Reyez, 38, was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he died. Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. ordered an autopsy.
