Art aficionados have until Feb. 26 to appreciate the works on display at the third annual Stark Museum of Art elementary exhibition: ART: It’s Elementary. The exhibition features 30 original works of art from Orange County elementary students in Kindergarten – 3rd grades, and is on view now in the museum’s Community Art Gallery and online at https://starkmuseum.org/art-its-elementary/.

All public, private, and homeschools serving K-3rd grade students were invited to submit up to eight works of art for the exhibition. Each participating campus was responsible for selecting the works of art submitted. This year’s exhibition includes artwork from Bridge City Intermediate School, Mauriceville Elementary School, Orangefield Elementary School and St. Mary Catholic School.

“This is such a special exhibition that we look forward to each year,” Stark Museum Education Director Jennifer Dickinson said. “The gallery is filled with bright and vibrant work that breathes fresh air into the space as we begin the new year.

“We’re thrilled to have had robust participation from many of our public and private elementary and intermediate schools, and we invite you to stop by and see these incredible works of art in person.”

Stark Museum of Art is located at 712 Green Ave. in Orange, and is open Wednesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information, visit starkmuseum.org.
