Enchanting evening

As guests entered the Downtown Event Center last Saturday evening, they were magically transferred into intimate garden setting for the Symphony League Ball. Kudos to Symphony League chairs Nicole Saba and Gillian Jenkins as well as the amazing creative floral design by Janey and Michelle Phelan. Lights, camera, action… The spotlight was shining on 10 students from Lamar University who will star in the next episode of the award-winning series, “The College Tour,” on Amazon Prime Video. Stephanie Barron, Jay Fields, Antonio Lopez Maldonado, Allaina Melancon, Alexis Miller, Zaid Mohammed, Jacob Murphy, Hannah Norwood, Landon Richard and Emily Smith each led a segment focusing on their own student experiences and love for out great university.
