A pursuit that started in Chambers County Monday ended with a crash in Beaumont. The Chambers County Sheriff's Office received a call about an erratic driver on I-10. When a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver sped off and entered Jefferson County. Speeds exceeded 100 mph. Multiple agencies were involved in the chase when the driver of thee fleeing vehicle hit another vehicle on I-10 and Walden Road in Beaumont. Several injuries were reported. None of them appear to be life threatening. No names have been released.
