This is a fitting place of rest for a man who left giant footprints in his too-short 65 years on earth.

An 82-year-old man is dead, and Port Arthur Police believe a heart attack may have resulted in the one-vehicle accident leading up to the victim's demise over the weekend, PAPD reports.

A patrol officer in Orange called for backup Sunday evening after his attempt to cite a local resident for loud music got complicated, resulting in two arrests.

According to a report from OPD Officer Michael Roush, as he was patrolling April 26 at about 7:05 p.m. in the area of 2nd Street and Turret Avenue, he saw a Ford Expedition with the windows down and heard loud music blaring from the vehicle.

UPDATE: After three days of testimony, a Hardin County jury found 41-year-old Crystal Boyett guilty of manslaughter for the death of 20-year-old Connely Burns related to the Feb. 3, 2014 car crash that killed Burns, her unborn son Tyson, and her 15-year-old sister, Courtney Ray Sterling. Boyett was taken into custody Thursday afternoon, April 23.
