Trio arrested with guns, crack, heroin

Friday, May 28, Beaumont Police Narcotics, SWAT, Special Assignment Unit and K-9 executed a search warrant at two locations in the 600 block of Avenue E. The search warrant yielded a total seizure of approximately 197 grams of heroin, 56 grams of crack cocaine, and two firearms.

Jefferson County Sheriff Zena Stephens’ office issued a traffic alert on May 24 just before 4 p.m., advising an interstate shutdown heading toward Houston. According to information from the JCSO, I-10 westbound between Hamshire Road and Highway 365 was shut down due to an overturning 18-wheeler.
