Google map location of deceased person in Vidor
Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll reported that in the early morning hours of May 26, the department received a call of a deceased person in the 100 block of Sargent Street.
According to information from the police chief, the 6:25 a.m. caller to the Vidor Police Department Dispatch Center advised that when he went to tend to his animals, he located what appeared to be a deceased white male lying in the garden. Responding officers located the body and began a death investigation.
“There are no signs of trauma to the body,” Carroll advised. “Justice of the Peace Rodney Price arrived and ordered an autopsy to determine cause of death.”
The deceased individual has been identified, Carroll further explained, but the person’s identity was being withheld pending notification of his family.
