Convicted murderer captured, returned to SETX

After nearly a year on the run, convicted murderer Matthew Edgar has been captured. The Sabine County Sheriff’s Office reported around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 29, in Hemphill, the U.S. Marshal’s Service arrested Matthew Edgar, 26.
