Beaumont Community Players’ season opener begins Sept. 9 with one of the most universally loved treasures of American musical theater in Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man.”
In 1957, the show became a hit on Broadway, winning five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and ran 1,375 performances.
