Suspect back in jail after system transition facilitates release

As reported in this week’s Examiner newspaper, alleged predator/schemer Billy Lynn Woolley was released from the Jefferson County Jail as of March 22 despite a judge’s 2022 order for an increased bond amount due to the suspect’s alleged continued criminal activity while out on prior felony bonds.

Posting bonds good for $300,000 at the Jefferson County Jail, a Beaumont man accused of years of child and family sexual and physical abuse, as well as attempting to scam more than $100,000 for slum rent collection from American taxpayers, is now free to roam the streets as of Wednesday, March 22.
