Harris Co. murder suspect arrest in Beaumont

July 18, officers with the Beaumont Police Department and Lamar Police Department, assisted by U.S. Marshalls, arrested Nathan Joel Nichols, a 30-year-old Beaumont man, for Harris County capital murder and parole violation warrants.

Name released in Orange homicide

Saturday, June 25, at about 10:30 a.m., Orange Police Department officers were dispatched to Interstate 10, just east of Highway 62, in reference to a white male with a gunshot wound. The victim was identified at the scene as 28-year-old Chase James Miller of Orange.

BPD investigates Alabama Avenue homicide

At about 1 a.m. on Friday, June 24, Beaumont police responded to the 200 block of Alabama Avenue in reference to shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a gold Chevrolet Malibu parked in a vacant lot.

Police seek suspect in Beaumont homicide

Officers with the Beaumont Police Department are investigating a homicide reported in the city’s north end. According to a report from the police department, investigators were called to the 4400 block of Magnolia on Wednesday, June 16, at 2:46 a.m., in reference to a victim of a shooting.

Beaumont nightclub murder suspect sought

Update: Monday, June 22, Beaumont police announced Joseph was in custody. Joseph was booked into the Jefferson County Correctional Facility for the charge of murder, and is being held in lieu of a $1 million bond.
