One person was airlifted to a Galveston hospital Monday, Oct 5, following a fire in Orange County. The fire was at a home in the 1800 block of Wexford Drive out side of Vidor. Firefighters were able to pull the victim from the home and was transported to a nearby parking lot and flown to Galveston. Two dogs were also rescued from the burning structure.
Orange County Emergency Service District #1 tells the Examiner the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
