On Sept 30, 2026, Vidor police attempted to stop an E-bicyclist for a traffic violation. The rider initially would not stop, finally stopping in the 800 block of Tannahill Street.
32-year-old Tyler Brown had outstanding warrants in Hardin County. He was arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail.
During the investigation, it was determined Brown had stolen the E-bike from the Vidor Wal-Mart just prior to the attempted traffic stop. Brown is facing multiple charges.
