A Jefferson County jury has found 26-year-old Marvin Parker guilty of aggravated robbery. Parker was convicted for the December 23, 2023 attack and robbery of a man as he was walking with his girlfriend in the 3700 block of East Lucas in Beaumont. Parker was one of two men that jumped out of a car and attacked the victim. who was hit with fists and pistol whipped and robbed of several hundred dollars. Parker was arrested in February of 2024 after he was identified through a photo lineup.The punishment phase of the trial is underway in State Court District Judge John Stevens' courtroom. Parker faces five to 99 years or life in prison.
