A Buna man has been arrested after a Jasper County grand jury returned multiple indictments alleging child sexual abuse.
Guy Stanley III, 60, of Buna, was arrested at his residence on the evening of Friday, July 17, by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said the arrest came after a Jasper County grand jury returned 14 indictments earlier in the week, charging Stanley with 14 counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Following the indictments, the arrest warrants were forwarded to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office for service.
Each count of indecency with a child by sexual contact is a second-degree felony under Texas law. Each warrant carried a preset bond of $100,000, for a total bond of $1.4 million.
