The Spindletop Center Peer Department is hosting a Mental Health Awareness Event on Friday, May 8 in the Fowler Harris Center at 655 S. 8th Street in Beaumont from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The event will feature speakers “Big Homie” Erik Tee from Magic 102.5, Mindy Volentine of Spindletop Center and Mary Boone of UT Houston. The event will also include lunch, hands-on sensory and wellness stations, a wellness vendor market, healthy samples and community wellness resources.
