April 20, the Lamar University Department of Biology announced that Biology student Mohamed Irhabi has been selected to present his David J Beck Fellowship supported research work at the “Baylor University Research Symposium,” alongside students from Baylor, A&M, UT, and Rice. Irhabi’s work was conducted at the Weill Cornell Medicine-Q, a branch of Weill Cornell Medicine established between Cornell University and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. The university is located in Education City, Qatar, near the capital of Doha.
