LIT announces 2025-26 Golden Eagle Ambassadors

The Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) announced the 2025-2026 LIT Golden Eagle Ambassadors. The students were selected to serve as leaders, representing LIT by welcoming and guiding new and prospective students while building a strong sense of community on campus.

Ambassadors receive a scholarship of $1,000 per semester, totaling $2,000 annually. In addition to financial support, they receive exclusive Golden Eagle apparel and gain access to networking opportunities with industry leaders at various campus and community events. The ambassadors were Kashanti Adams, Kailee Dotson, Nyaah Guillory, Dawson Ramsey and Diana Tran.

The Golden Eagle Ambassador program is designed to strengthen LIT’s campus culture by promoting student engagement, increasing retention and giving students a role in recruitment efforts. Ambassadors are key representatives of the college who assist with outreach initiatives and participate in events that involve current and prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community. Ambassadors must also maintain a 3.0 GPA and have no student conduct violations.
