The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce plans to announce the recipient of the 2023 Spindletop Award on Tuesday, March 14, at a press conference held at the Chamber Boardroom, 1110 Park St. in Beaumont, from 10 – 11 a.m., with Chamber Ambassadors, volunteers and members invited to attend.
The Spindletop Award was created in 1999 “to recognize area businesses for outstanding corporate citizenship and overall impact on the community.” Previous recipients of the Spindletop Award include ExxonMobil, Conn’s, Munro’s, The Sabine Neches Navigation District, Jason’s Deli and Broussard’s.
Also this month, the Consumer Education Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit of Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving the greater Southeast Texas region, is offering a new twist on a classic event as they kick off their Brunch & Learn series on March 30 at the MCM Elegante at 10 a.m.
Topics include generational differences in the workplace and team learning, transitioning through generations, growth and evolving, future generation involvement with marketplace and more. The featured speaker for the first Brunch & Learn of 2023 is Craig Escamilla, business consultant and owner of CAE Solutions.
