Senior John Sanderson of Hamshire-Fannett High School competed in the Carl Lewis High School Track Invitational last weekend hosted by the University of Houston.
Sanderson placed second in the 60-meter hurdles in a personal best time of 8.02, which currently ranks No. 9 in the nation.
