Bradly Joseph Pruitt was found guilty in a Hardin County court on May 13, accused in the beating of a Sour Lake police officer in 2019.
Pruitt was accused of assaulting then 61-year-old Officer Bill McKeon before stealing his patrol car the evening of May 27, 2019, and leaving the officer for dead.
Pruitt faces up to life in prison at sentencing.
