Around 2 p.m. Dec. 23, Beaumont police announced the arrest of a murder suspect believed to have taken part in the Nov. 22 crime on Glasshouse Street.
BPD arrested Joseph Gerard Matthews Dec. 23 after the wanted man spent a month with detectives on his trail. Jacoby Jackson was killed Nov. 22, and officers previously arrested Deshaun Manuel, who turned himself in Nov. 26 for the same crime.
