A Beaumont City Council member is facing a possible censure after allegedly uttering a series of seemingly lewd and inappropriate comments directed at the city’s attorney.
At the city council's meeting March 3, Councilman Mike Getz could be censured, which ultimately amounts to a formal statement of disapproval, for insulting comments he directed at Tyrone Cooper, the city’s attorney.
Among other comments, Getz allegedly said, “You can suck my d--k!”
