City updates food truck regulations

The city of Nederland announced updated regulations for food trucks. According to city officials, effective March 1, there are two types of permits – special events and annual – for food trucks to operate within the city limits.

FROM BEAUMONT PD: On Sunday, March 17 at 1:31 am, Beaumont Police officers responded to the End Zone sports lounge, 3430 Concord Doad, in reference to a victim of a shooting. Officers arrived and found a female suffering from a gunshot wound.

FROM BEAUMONT PD: On Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 12:12 pm, Beaumont Police officers responded to 3150 W. Cardinal in reference to a suspicious person. When officers arrived, the suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Police looking for pair who stole paint from store

FROM BEAUMONT PD: On 02/29/2024, at about 7:15 pm, the thief (pictured here)along with a Houston man we have already identified, walked into the Lowe’s in Beaumont and stole $2,000 worth of painting supplies.  We are asking for help identifying her.
