Teen suspect arrested for mail theft

FROM BEAUMONT PD: On Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 12:12 pm, Beaumont Police officers responded to 3150 W. Cardinal in reference to a suspicious person. When officers arrived, the suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Police looking for pair who stole paint from store

FROM BEAUMONT PD: On 02/29/2024, at about 7:15 pm, the thief (pictured here)along with a Houston man we have already identified, walked into the Lowe’s in Beaumont and stole $2,000 worth of painting supplies.  We are asking for help identifying her.

Day four of the 1995 murder trial of Mary Catherine Edwards began Friday morning with the defense attempting to suppress a key piece of evidence. “I understand there is an issue we need to address outside of the jury’s presence,” asked Judge Stevens.

Two juveniles arrested for evading police

A pair of juvenile suspects, a male and female, were transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center for evading arrest. The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) reported at 4:30 a.m.

Woman arrested on multiple charges after shooting

A woman was arrested on several charges after officers were called to a shooting on March 14. According to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD), officer went to an apartment at 2950 S. 8th St. reference to a victim of a shooting at 10:26 p.m.

Monster trucks and Army recruits

Beaumont's Ford Arena was the home of Monster Nation's 20th anniversary tour March 8-9, which included big trucks Tailgator, Dirt Crew, Dozer, Maximus, Block Head and The Veteran competing as well at FMX motocross superstars flying through the air.
