Beaumont ISD is committed to providing a safe and orderly event to all of our stakeholders. In addition to pre-existing stadium guidelines, the following routines will be put in place effective immediately beginning the week of October 9, 2019 for all high school games at all levels.

Fatal wreck on Highway 12

On Jan. 6, at about 4:20 p.m.,  the Vidor Police Department was called to a major accident in the 7000 block of Highway 12 involving a passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler.

Man kicks in door, assaults resident, gets arrested

About 5:30 a.m. Jan. 4, PAPD officers responded to 9th Street in reference to a “disturbance” over money, according to a news release.

Teens lead PAPD on chase with stolen car

9:30 a.m. Jan. 3, officers with the PAPD were dispatched to the block of 4th Street in reference to a reportedly-stolen black Dodge Durango that was called in by the vehicle’s GPS system, according to a news release.

Pedestrian struck in Port Arthur

Just after 6 a.m. Jan. 4, officers of the PAPD responded to the 1800 block of Rosedale Avenue in reference to an auto pedestrian accident. Investigation revealed that the unnamed black male victim was walking in the northbound lane in an unlit area, while wearing dark clothing.

Bank robbed

Common Cents Credit Union on Smith Road in Jefferson County was robbed by an armed bandit on Monday, Jan. 6, according to reports from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Dollar store robbed

Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne reports that his office is searching for the actors who robbed a dollar store at gunpoint on Dec. 30. According to Hawthorne, Dec. 30, at about 8:30 p.m., two black males entered the Family Dollar store in Anahuac and displayed a handgun.
