Beaumont man arrested for murder

Friday, April 3, at 9:10 a.m. Beaumont Police responded to the Seville Apartments located at 4325 Crow Rd. in reference to a disturbance involving a man assaulting a woman. When officers arrived, the suspect was still on the scene and taken into custody.

Beaumont extends "Stay Home, Work Safe" order indefinitely

At a special called meeting April 3, the Beaumont City Council unanimously voted to extend the city's "Stay Home, Work Safe" order intended to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The original order was set to expire after seven days, but the new one has no expiry.

Around 2:42 p.m. April 2, officers of the Port Arthur Police Department were dispatched to the area of 827 Stilwell Blvd. in reference to shots fired. Shortly after, dispatch notified officers that a male subject had been shot.

BPD arrests suspected murderer

April 1, officers from BPD arrested a man suspected of stabbing and killing a 26-year-old Beaumont man just a day prior. Tuesday, March 31, at 9:44 p.m., Beaumont police responded to the 9300 block of Riggs Street in reference to a victim of a stabbing.
