According to a Nov. 30 news release, Beaumont detectives obtained murder warrants for two local men allegedly responsible for a murder that occured Nov. 22. BPD obtained muder warrants for Deshaun Tremaine Manuel and Joseph Gerard Mathews.

According to a post from the Beaumont Independent School District, Beaumont United High School students were on lockdown this morning due to police activity in a surrounding neighborhood. The lockdown was lifted shortly after, and BISD reported that all students were safe.

Police in Orange are searching for a suspect who shot a 21-year-old resident multiple times before fleeing the scene. Officers with the Orange Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the 400 block of Know Avenue at 7:42 p.m. on Nov. 16, Capt. Robert Enmon reports.
