SPD: Three arrested on felony charges

Three people were arrested on felony charges by the Silsbee Police Department. According to the SPD arrest report, Richard Lynn Bishop III, 24, was arrested Sept. 8 for evading arrest with vehicle — a third-degree felony. He also had a warrant out from another agency. Sept.

Hardin County residents arrested by TCSO

Three Hardin County residents were arrested by Tyler County Sheriff’s Office deputies recently, according to Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford. Sept. 3, Israel Compoz, 27, of Kountze, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.

$1.6 million bond set for man who threatens judges

The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reported the arrest of a 30-year-old man on Sept. 10 who threatened district judges. His bond was set at $1.6 million by Pct. 6 Justice of the Peace Larry Cryer.
