Worm wranglers unite in Port Arthur

Wee wiggling worm wranglers from Washington Elementary School paid a visit to West Port Arthur Community Garden March 31, learning about worms and their effect on the garden from Master Gardener Kevin Pierce, a volunteer with United Way during the nonprofit’s Day of Caring.

Pedestrian killed in crash A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision March 30, reported Detective Sgt. Nick Medina of the Orange Police Department (OPD). Medina stated that, at 5:39 a.m., OPD officers were dispatched to the 600 block of MLK Jr. Drive in reference to the collision.
