Douglas (Doug) Dean Jerome died peacefully in his sleep on May 7, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Abigail Wallis Jerome and William Lewis Jerome II.
The Golden Triangle Big Band will perform a free Memorial Day concert at the Jefferson Theatre on Wednesday, May 24, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., followed. By a 7 p.m. start time. The concert will feature classic big band tunes, patriotic music and more.
