The Nederland Rotary Club will host its annual Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs (HOFNOD) event on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Doornbos Park in Nederland. The free, family-friendly event is designed to promote healthy lifestyles, positive choices, and outdoor recreation for local youth.

Beaumont ZIP transit Calder route to be redesigned

To optimize service and to minimize delays, Beaumont ZIP Transit's Calder Route will be redesigned to remain on Phelan Road. Marked bus tops will no longer be serviced, with new bus stops to provide easy access to riders, according to a news release from the city of Beaumont.
