Victim stabbed during robbery

Saturday, Feb. 22, officers of the Port Arthur Police Department were called to 3105 Procter in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, initial investigation determined that the incident had taken place in the area of 11th Avenue and Sixth Street. 

The victim was traveling on a motorized bicycle and was approached by two unknown black males who were attempting to take his bike. During the struggle, one of the suspects stabbed the victim in the back, causing serious injury. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

PAPD reports the incident is currently under investigation by the department's Criminal Investigation Division.
