Traffic lane closures in Lumberton

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) will conduct crash reconstructions causing multiple lane closures in the city of Lumberton until about 2 p.m. on Feb. 3, the agency reports.

The schedule for the crash reconstructions includes Highway 96 at Boardwalk  beginning at 9 a.m. and Highway 69 at Wheeler beginning  at 12 p.m.

During the crash reconstruction, alternating northbound and southbound traffic lanes will be closed. Motorist traveling in the area of the crash reconstruction should drive cautiously, observe all warning signs and follow directions from law enforcement officers and other traffic control devices in the area. Expect delays.

Each crash reconstruction is expected to last a minimum of two hours.
