A Beaumont city work truck was partially engulfed in flames Thursday afternoon on the corner of Windsor Parkway and Manchester Court.
City employees were repainting lines on the roadway when the dispense mechanism began sputtering flames and smoke, according to Beaumont police officers on the scene. The workers immediately called for assistance and the blaze was smothered minutes later. No one was injured in the event.
