Located at 818 Earnest Ave. in Silsbee, the Ice House Museum will host “Ghosts at the Museum” on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 7 – 10 p.m. During the event, members of the Silsbee Middle School Drama Department will tell stories about the Bragg Road Light, Black Beasts of Hardin County, Children with Yellow Fever in 1853 and others.

“The stories were incredibly well written by Shilo Creech,” Kilcrease said. “The Bragg Road Light will include a modern-day encounter. We’re also doing two stories about the Black Beast –panthers who attacked people during the Civil War. It’s all well-documented history.”

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the museum or online at Eventbrite.com. For more information, visit
