SETX businessman arrested for critical accident

One man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries and another was behind bars Sunday evening, March 29, after an auto/bike accident in Beaumont's West End. Beaumont Police Chief Jimmy Singletary confirms the victim was life-flighted to Houston with critical injuries.

Motorist and Beaumont businessman Jason McKnight, 52, was arrested by Beaumont PD and charged with causing an accident involving injury or death. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail with no posted bond amount as of Sunday night.
