The Newton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of human remains. The remains, found Thursday, Sept 24, were in a wooded area near the Wildlife Cat Refuge off of FM 82 near the Newton County line.
It appears the remains are those of an adult human. The remains will be submitted to the University of North Texas for analysis. The remains were found in the general vicinity where Josh Larkin was reported missing more than three years ago.
