Similar to measures nearby Jefferson and Hardin counties have taken in recent days, Orange County Judge John Gothia signed a second amended emergency order today, March 23. The newest update includes the mandated closure of gyms, fitness clubs, tattoo shops, game rooms, business operating 8-liners, massage therapy facilities immediately.

Hair salons, beauty salons, spas and barber shops are also ordered to close, though they will be permitted to close out the day.

Also prohibited is door-to-door sales. Residents who encounter such a scenario are encouraged to not answer the door.

Childcare facilities are ordered to operate under the 10-person maximum "in a group setting," according to the order.
