Orange County schools announced an extension to their flexible learning programs.
Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD announced, "The Emergency Declaration for Orange County was amended today to include closures through April 13."
District affected include Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Bridge City ISD, West Orange-Cove ISD, Orangefield ISD and Vidor ISD.
Currently, LC-M CISD plans to observe their scheduled Spring Break from April 10 - 17.
Due to pre-planned school holidays and teacher workdays, the earliest Vidor ISD students would return is April 15.
