A man died after he was involved in an early morning ATV crash on May 29.
The Beaumont Police Department reported at 3:45 a.m. at the intersection of Cardinal Drive southbound service road at Erie Street, officers received a call of a crash involving a truck and an ATV. Investigation revealed that the ATV appeared to have failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and entered the intersection where the truck struck the ATV, ejecting both occupants.
One occupant of the ATV was deceased at the scene while the other was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, then transported via Lifeflight to Memorial Herman Houston.
The deceased was identified as Coshma Roshad Thomas, 40, of Beaumont.
