A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a Beaumont man on Jan. 18 for solicitation of prostitution, a state jail felony.
Christopher Dontae Moore, 27, of Beaumont, was arrested Oct. 26, 2022, during an online undercover operation by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), which posed ads for facilitating sexual exploitation and human trafficking, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Undercover officers were contacted by the suspect, who allegedly offered or agreed to pay a fee to another person for engaging in sexual conduct.
Moore went to a hotel in the 2000 block of North 11th Street in Beaumont and came to the predetermined room where he was taken into custody by DPS officers.
