Jefferson County extends emergency declaration

With a curfew in effect for anyone under 18 and a mandate to limit gatherings to 50 or less, Jefferson County Commissioners and Judge Jeff Branick voted unanimously to extend the advisories to protect against coronavirus spread on March 17. 
The order is now in effect for another seven days when the elected officials of Commissioners Court are set to meet again.
